Policies & ProceduresWe would like to congratulate you on becoming a Pacific Placement Group Associate. When you accept a temporary or freelance assignment with Pacific Placement Group, Inc. (PPG), there are certain expectations we ask you to meet. These are common sense for the most part, however, there are certain things about our relationship with you, and our relationships with our clients, which we expect you to respect and honor. By following the guidelines below, we can be sure we carefully selected you to reflect our image and uphold our reputation as a professional and service oriented organization. They are as follows: Evaluation:In order for us to properly meet our clients' needs, it is critical for our assessment of your skill levels, work product and employment history to be as accurate as possible. Therefore, please be candid about your qualifications. For instance, if we ask about your Microsoft Excel skills, do not claim that you have done extensive spreadsheet designs when you have only used the application for data entry. If we send you on an assignment that you were ultimately not qualified for due to misrepresentation of your skills, it will be difficult for us to consider you for another opportunity with us. Getting an Assignment:Call us on a weekly basis and let us know if, and when, you are available. When we call you for a temporary assignment, we will provide the following details: While On Assignment: Please do not accept an assignment unless you are prepared to complete it. Be prepared for potential overtime. NEVER DISCUSS RATES OR PAYMENT WITH AN EMPLOYER. Respect your relationship with us, and our relationship with our clients. Please be early and well dressed for the first day. Follow Employer Policies. Do not tamper with, alter, or steal Employer Property or Software. Adhere to the Work-for-Hire & Confidentiality Agreement. Getting PaidAt the end of the assignment or the end of the week, which ever comes first, the supervisor on the job must sign your timesheet. We cannot pay you without the client's signature. Your timesheet must be received in our office by 12:00 noon on the Monday following the week you worked. We prefer you to mail or bring your timesheet in person to our office, however, if this is impossible to do before payroll deadline, you may fax in your timesheet at (415) 394-5966 only with the permission of the temp division manager. If you fax or mail in your timecard, call the office before 12:00 noon on Monday to confirm your timecard has been received. If confirmation is not made and we have not received a copy of your timecard, your check will not be issued until the following pay period. Paychecks are available on the following Friday at 12:00 noon. If you need your check mailed to you each week please check the box marked MAIL on the timecard. If we have your timesheet we will mail your check on Thursday afternoon. Paychecks that are not picked up by 4:00 p.m. on the following Thursday will be mailed.
